出乎意料!太原马拉松报名人数下降
昨天，8月5日，备受华北跑者关注的太原马拉松公布了中签结果。在今年整体中签率接近40%的大背景下，连续3届太马中签的我，这次竟然没有中签。看来这就是均值回归吧。
太原马拉松今年的报名人数，说实话远低于我的预期，只有104228人，刚刚超过10万人，甚至低于去年半马加全马的报名人数119360。原想着在今年总规模达到40000人规模，成为仅次于香港马拉松的国内第二大马拉松赛事的大背景下，应该会吸引更多的跑者来报名。结果却是让人大跌眼镜。
按理来说，太原作为山西省会，有着2500年的建城史，是山西省的门面。再加上太原马拉松是整个9月份，全球范围内唯一的一场世界田联金标赛事，赛道又基本是沿着太原的精华路段展开，对跑者的吸引力应该还是比较大才对。但是报名人数只有隔壁省的省会马拉松的一半，而且石家庄马拉松只是一场普通的标牌赛事。
放在金标赛事中再看，在今年国内9场含全马的金标赛事中，太马的报名人数应该是仅高于东营马拉松，位居倒数第二。今年东营马拉松并未公布报名人数，大概率是没有太马多。
但是，东营马拉松报名人数少有很多客观条件。东营，仅仅是山东省内的普通地级市，而且目前尚未通高铁，是山东省内唯一完全未通高铁的地级市，交通相对来说不便，吸引省外跑者的力度要小一些。太原，虽不像一些省会那样有米字型的多条高铁，但是总体来说还是挺方便的，2个半小时就能抵达北京、西安和郑州等大城市。
太原马拉松的报名人数下滑，其实仔细分析也不是很难解释。绝大多数马拉松，报名占比最大的肯定是本省和本市的跑者，外地跑者占比要显著低于省内跑者。
虽说太原是省会城市，但是在省会城市中，太原在全国的排名无论是GDP，还是人口，以及面积都排不上一个好的名次。太马虽说可以吸引很多的省内跑者报名，但是，山西仅仅只有3000万人口，按人口来说是一个中小省。再加上省内的跑者占总人口的比例应该也不大，这就导致省内跑者绝对数量就不是很多。
再加上今年整个山西的经济发展遇到不少困难，上半年的GDP排名位于国内第22位。虽说太马没有进一步公布省内跑者和省外跑者的报名人数，大概率省内跑者的报名人数肯定少了。
省内跑者报名少了，同时，省外跑者又不能及时补上省内跑者的缺口。这样，报名总人数自然就下来了。成都马拉松今年的报名人数相较去年也有下降，2者的原因不完全一样，但有一部分肯定是相通的。
我能想到的还有一个原因，就是今年太原马拉松的举办日期刚好在中秋节假期，可能很多跑者还是希望能和家人团圆，干脆就不去外面跑马了。
