深耕教研强本领,聚力备考启新程;赛事传捷报,少年展风采。太原市高中英语中研班暨高三二模反馈教研活动如期举行,太原市外国语学校高中英语教师积极参与,复盘学情短板、梳理备考重点,高效汲取优质经验,为高三英语冲刺复习锚定方向。
活动中,我校高三英语教师团队认真聆听各位专家老师的汇报分享:太原五中王芳老师聚焦二模易错题型,剖析学生语篇理解短板,提出强化整体阅读、夯实语法基础的备考建议;二十七中段晓菲老师对比高考与二模语篇选材,分享了主题词汇构建、阅读方法优化的实用技巧;市教科研中心李莹老师全面复盘二模考情,明确了备考核心痛点与提升关键。我校教师结合本校学生英语学习实际,精准提炼二模核心考点与共性问题,确立“强化语篇思维、夯实基础能力、优化课堂实效”的备考核心,将先进理念融入复习计划,推动教研成果向教学实效转化,助力学子高效提分。
教研赋能成长,佳绩点亮荣光。本次教研活动期间,同步举行的第22届“外研社杯”全国中学生外语素养大赛颁奖仪式亮点纷呈,太原市外国语学校及太原市外国语凤凰双语中学校学子奋勇争先、不负期许,双双斩获亮眼佳绩,用实力彰显我校外语教学底蕴与学子昂扬风采,成为活动中的一大亮点。
作为教育部白名单中唯一的外语类国家级赛事,“外研社杯”大赛规格高、竞争力强,吸引全国148万名中学生参与。经过省级选拔至全国总决赛的层层严苛角逐,我校学子凭借扎实的外语功底、出色的综合素养,在众多参赛者中脱颖而出,续写我校外语教学辉煌。
作为外语特色标杆学校,太原市外国语学校延续赛事优势,成果丰硕。学子们从容应战,斩获多项省级及以上荣誉,并有多人成功跻身全国总决赛,尽显外语实力与国际视野;学校因组织有序、指导有力获评“优秀指导单位”,多名高中英语教师凭借专业指导与悉心培育,荣获“优秀指导教师”称号,用坚守护航学子成长。
此次中研班活动,我校教师明晰备考方向、凝聚奋进合力;“外研社杯”的优异成绩,既是对我校外语教学成果的全面检验,也是对全体外语教师辛勤付出的最好回报,为后续教学与备考注入强大动力。

Teaching Research Empowers Targeted Exam Preparation, Outstanding Achievements Show Foreign Language Elegance——Record of English Teaching and Research Activities of Taiyuan Foreign Language Schooland Awards in the "FLTRP Cup" of Taiyuan Foreign Language School
Deepen teaching research to strengthen professional capabilities, gather efforts to start a new journey of exam preparation; good news comes from competitions, and teenagers show their elegance. The teaching and research activity, the Taiyuan Municipal High School English Teaching and Research Seminar and the feedback session for the second mock exam, was held as scheduled. English teachers of senior high school from Taiyuan Foreign Language School actively participated in the activity, reviewed students' learning shortcomings, sorted out key points of exam preparation, efficiently absorbed high-quality experience, and anchored the direction for the sprint review of English teaching in senior three.
During the activity, the senior three English teachers' team of our school carefully listened to the reports and sharing of various experts and teachers: Wang Fang from Taiyuan No.5 Middle School focused on the error-prone question types in the second mock exam, analyzed students' shortcomings in discourse comprehension, and put forward exam preparation suggestions of strengthening overall reading and consolidating grammatical foundation; Duan Xiaofei from Taiyuan No.27 Middle School compared the discourse selection of the college entrance examination and the second mock exam, and shared practical skills of thematic vocabulary construction and reading method optimization; Li Ying from Taiyuan Municipal Teaching and Research Center comprehensively reviewed the overall situation of the second mock exam and clarified the core pain points and key improvement areas of exam preparation. Combining the actual situation of English learning of students in our school, our teachers accurately extracted the core test points and common problems of the second mock exam, established the core of exam preparation of "strengthening discourse thinking, consolidating basic abilities and optimizing classroom effectiveness", integrated advanced concepts into the review plan, promoted the transformation of teaching research achievements into teaching effectiveness, and helped students improve their scores efficiently.
Teaching research empowers growth, and outstanding achievements light up glory. During this teaching research activity, the award ceremony of the 22nd "FLTRP Cup" National English Competition for Schools held simultaneously was brilliant. Students from Taiyuan Foreign Language School and Taiyuan Foreign Language Phoenix Bilingual Middle School strived for excellence and lived up to expectations, both achieving remarkable results. They showed the profound heritage of foreign language teaching and the vigorous demeanor of students in our school with their strength, becoming a major highlight of the activity.
As the only national foreign language competition in the white list of the Ministry of Education, the "FLTRP Cup" has a high standard and strong competitiveness, attracting 1.48 million middle school students from all over the country to participate. After rigorous competitions from provincial selection to the national final, students from our school stood out among many participants with their solid foreign language foundation and excellent comprehensive literacy, continuing the glory of foreign language teaching in our school.
As a benchmark school with foreign language characteristics, Taiyuan Foreign Language School has maintained its advantages in competitions and achieved fruitful results. Students responded calmly, won many provincial and above honors, and many students successfully entered the national final, fully showing their foreign language strength and international vision; the school was awarded the title of "Outstanding Guiding Unit" for its orderly organization and effective guidance, and many senior high school English teachers won the title of "Outstanding Guiding Mentor" with their professional guidance and careful cultivation, guarding the growth of students with perseverance.
In this central research group activity, teachers of our school clarified the direction of exam preparation and gathered the joint efforts of forging ahead; the outstanding accomplishments in the "FLTRP Cup" are not only a comprehensive test of the achievements of foreign language teaching in our school, but also the best reward for the hard work of all foreign language teachers, injecting strong motivation into the subsequent teaching and exam preparation.
The wind is strong and the tide is surging, and we move forward steadily into the future. Taking this teaching research and the outstanding competition achievements as an opportunity, our school will, for one thing, optimize the senior three English exam preparation strategy, deepen classroom teaching, make precise efforts, and help students realize their college entrance examination dreams; for another thing, deepen the reform of foreign language teaching, inherit characteristic advantages, and cultivate new-era teenagers with solid foreign language foundation, family and country feelings and international vision, continuing to write a new chapter of foreign language education in our school.
