Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT), founded in 1902, is one of the first three national universities in China. It is located in Taiyuan, Shanxi, a famous historic and cultural city with a history of 2,500 years. With four distinct seasons, pleasant climate, convenient transportation and low living costs, Taiyuan is an ideal place for international students to study and live in China.

As a university under the national “Project 211” and a “Double First-Class” construction university, TYUT boasts strong academic strength. Its engineering discipline ranks among ESI’s global top 1‰, and chemistry, materials science, earth science, environmental ecology are among the top 1%. TYUT has formed a school-running pattern of “dominated by engineering, combining science and engineering, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines”, covering nine major disciplines such as science, engineering, economics, law, pedagogy, liberal arts, management, art and interdisciplinary disciplines.

Currently, TYUT offers 34 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs taught either in Chinese or English, and has established a complete international student cultivation system from language training, preparatory education to integrated undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs. 招生类别与申请要求

申请人须为非中国籍公民，身心健康，无重大疾病、传染病或精神疾病病史。未满 18 周岁的申请人不具备申请资格。申请硕士或博士项目的学生，须在面试前联系拟报考导师，并获得导师签署的面试评估表及接收函。本科生申请者需要参加 CSCA 中国来华留学本科生学业能力测试后才有资格申请我校本科生项目。

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good physical as well as mental condition, and have no history of major diseases, infectious diseases or mental illnesses. Applicants under the age of 18 are not eligible to apply.Applicants applying for master’s or doctoral programs are required to contact the supervisor prior to the interview and obtain the supervisor’s interview evaluation form and acceptance letter.Applicants applying for bachelor’s degree program are required to take the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA).

申请材料

1. 参加中国教育部 “来华留学本科生学业水平测试”（CSCA 考试）并达到成绩要求
2. 护照首页、全部使用页扫描件（含居留许可），护照有效期不得少于 1 年，并提供全部入境记录
3. 经过公证的最高学历文凭或学位证书，需提供原件高清扫描件，非复印件，且上传本人手持原件的照片
4. 最高学历学术成绩单、全国毕业考试成绩单
5. 两封推荐信，申请硕士或博士学位项目的申请者需提供 2 名教授或副教授的推荐信
6. 语言水平资格证书，IELTS6.5/TOEFL85/Duolingo110 或 HSK4 不低于 200 分
7. 研究生导师的评审意见表，访问http://is.tyut.edu.cn页面点击下载评审表和邀请函模板
8. 导师招生邀请函，同上
9. 学习计划
10. 个人简历，从小学阶段到完成最高学历阶段的所有学习和工作经历
11. 《外国人体格检查表》扫描件，提供有效期 90 天的体检报告单
12. 无犯罪记录报告，提供有效期 90 天的无犯罪记录报告
13. 银行资金证明，个人银行账户存款不少于 30000 人民币或 4000 美元
14. 来华留学本科生学业能力测试成绩单，申请学士学位项目者需提供 CSCA 成绩单

注：全部申请材料要求原件高清扫描，不接受复印件；如申请材料被发现造假，立即取消申请资格并记录在招生系统黑名单中。Note: All application materials are required to be shown in high-definition original documents. Copies are not accepted. If fraudulent materials are found, the application qualification will be cancelled and the applicant will be recorded in the blacklist of the admission system.

招生流程

Step 1：登录太原理工大学招生门户网站（http://is.tyut.edu.cn），创建用户名，登录系统，完成个人申请信息的录入和相关材料的上传。Step 2：本科专业申请者必须经过初审，并通过教育部本科学术水平测试；申请硕士或博士项目的学生需要联系导师进行面试，导师如同意接收你攻读硕士或博士研究生学位，会发给你导师面试评审表和导师接收函，请将两个文件电子版上传到招生报名网站。Step 3：请通过微信 Pay 结算报名费 400 元人民币，并将付款收据提交到招生门户。Step 4：收到预录取通知。Step 5：收到 JW201 表或 JW202 表和正式录取通知书。Step 6：到当地的中国大使馆申请签证。Step 7：联系我们确认您的到达日期并在入境前完成您的保险支付（联华国际保险 www.lxbx.net）。Step 8：请在规定时间内携带护照、学位证书、最高学历成绩单、体格检查表、语言能力证书等原件到我校报到。

Step 1: Log in to the admission portal website of Taiyuan University of Technology (http://is.tyut.edu.cn), create a username and log in to the system to complete the entry of personal application information and upload relevant materials.Step 2: The applicants for Bachelor’s degree program must undergo a preliminary review and pass the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA); Students applying for master’s or doctoral programs need to contact the supervisor for an interview, to get the interview evaluation form and acceptance letter from the supervisor. Upload two documents to is.tyut.edu.cn.Step 3: Please settle the registration fee of 400 yuan through WeChat pay and submit the payment receipt to the admission portal.Step 4: Receive the pre-admission notice.Step 5: Receive the JW201 or JW202 form and the official admission notice.Step 6: Apply for a visa at the local Chinese embassy.Step 7: Please contact us to confirm your arrival date and complete your insurance payment before entry (www.lxbx.net).Step 8: Please bring the original copies of your passport, degree certificate, transcript of the highest degree, physical examination form, and language proficiency certificate, etc. to register at TYUT within the specified time.
